Purpose of Leave. It is understood by the parties that leaves of absence are to be used for the purpose intended, and employees shall make their intent known when applying for such leaves. There shall be no duplicating or pyramiding of benefits or types of absence. Employees shall not accept employment while on leaves of absence unless agreed to by the Employer. Acceptance of employment or working for another employer without prior approval while on leave of absence may result in discipline, up to and including discharge.
