Purpose of PTO. The Employer provides Paid Time Off in recognition of each person's need for rest and relaxation away from the job. It is not designed to provide additional compensation while still at work, but rather to provide a paid time off benefit for vacation, illness, holidays, and personal needs.

Purpose of PTO. PTO Bank Days allow employees to take paid-time-off for vacations, personal business, illnesses of family members, funerals of friends or relatives who are not immediate family members, religious observances, and school visitation. In addition, PTO Bank Days provide paid-time-off for certain absences because of non- occupational sickness or injuries (“sickness absences”).
