Common use of Quarantine Clause in Contracts

Quarantine. In any case where, because of exposure to a communicable disease, an employee is quarantined or otherwise prevented by order of the medical authorities from attending upon work duties, the employee shall be paid and the time shall not be deducted from the employee’s sick leave account or special leave account.
