Rates Based on Cost of Service. All rates charged under this section shall be set to recover the cost of service, based on generally accepted rate making principles, including but not limited to those set forth in the American Water Works Association (“AWWA”) Manual M1 on water rates. As part of the budget and planning process set forth in Section 3(f), each year Riverbend shall conduct a Capital Matrix Study that includes recommended regional wholesale rates based on costs of service in determining the regional rate. A copy of the most recent Capital Matrix Study conducted by Riverbend as of the Effective Date of this Contract is attached hereto as Exhibit I and incorporated herein for all purposes. The estimated rates per 1,000 gallons of the Minimum Quantity as of the Effective Date of this Contract are based upon a rate study conducted by Riverbend and are set forth in Exhibit J, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. Such rates set forth in Exhibit J are general estimates of the rates projected as of the Effective Date, and are not intended to replace the annual budget and official rate setting process set forth in Section 3(f). In addition, Member Entity, along with the other municipal Riverbend Member Entities, approved funding resolutions related to the regional rates and the rate- making process, copies of which are attached hereto as Exhibit K and incorporated herein for all purposes.

Related to Rates Based on Cost of Service

  • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

  • Level of Service 4.1.1 Each Member and New Market Entrant shall:

  • Calculation of Service 25.7 For purposes of calculating continuous service and active service, a year shall be deemed to consist of two hundred and sixty-one (261) working days.

  • Payment of Service Fees Customer will pay the Service Fees for Services ordered by Customer, and all other amounts due under the Agreement, pursuant to the terms of this Section 5.

  • Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.

  • Overtime-Eligible Rest Periods ‌ The Employer and the Union agree to rest periods that vary from and supersede the rest periods required by WAC 000-000-000. Employees will be allowed rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes for each one-half (1/2) shift of four (4) or more hours worked at or near the middle of each one-half (1/2) shift of four (4) or more hours. Rest periods do not require relief from duty. Rest periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and rest and meal periods will not be combined.

  • Start-Up Costs 4.1.1 The Government of Ontario will provide:

  • Average Daily Balance To get the "Average Daily Balance" of Purchases, we take the beginning balance of your Credit Card account each day, add any new Purchases, and subtract any Cash Advances, payments, or other credits which were applied to Purchases, unpaid FINANCE CHARGES, late charges, membership fees, and other fees. If you paid the Purchases balance in full by the Payment Due Date in the previous billing cycle, in the current billing cycle we will credit payments otherwise applicable to Purchases based on our allocation method as of the first day of the current billing cycle. These computations give us the Purchases daily balance. To get the "Average Daily Balance" of Cash Advances, we take the beginning balance each day, add any new Cash Advances, and subtract any Purchases, payments, or other credits which were applied to Cash Advances, unpaid FINANCE CHARGES, late charges, membership fees, and other fees. This gives us the Cash Advances daily balance. Then we add up all of the Purchases or Cash Advance daily balances for the billing period and divide each total by the number of days in the billing period. This gives us the "Average Daily Balances."

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.

  • Leave for Family Illness In the case of illness of a member of an employee’s immediate family, meaning spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, or person to whom the employee is legal guardian when no one at home other than the employee can provide for the needs of the ill person, the employee may be granted, after notifying her immediate management supervisor, leave with pay up to five (5) working days per fiscal year, for the purpose of making such arrangements as are necessary to permit the employee’s return to work. The immediate management supervisor may require proof of the need for such leave as she considers necessary.
