Common use of Reclassification of Position Clause in Contracts

Reclassification of Position. Any employee whose position classification is changed to one with a lower maximum salary through no fault of her own, shall receive fifty percent (50%) of the negotiated salary increase applicable to the employee's new classification. Such employee shall receive the full negotiated salary increase when the maximum salary of her classification equals or exceeds the salary which she is receiving. This clause shall apply for the duration of this Agreement.
