Common use of Recognition and Rights of Stewards Clause in Contracts

Recognition and Rights of Stewards. (1) The Employer recognizes the Union’s right to select Stewards to represent employees on the basis of two (2) stewards plus an alternate Xxxxxxx for each Health Centre.

(1a) The Employer recognizes the Union’s right to select Stewards to represent employees on the basis of one (1) Xxxxxxx for each health centre located at New Aiyansh, Laxgalts’ap, Gingolx and Gitwinksihlkw plus two (2) stewards plus Stewards who work from other locations. Stewards will normally attend to duties at their own work location but one from another location may be requested to attend virtually or in person as an alternate Xxxxxxx for each Health Centrealternate, in a manner which does not interfere with normal operation.
