Recycling Policy. When purchasing products, materials, or supplies for use, Owner, when making such purchases shall actively pursue the purchase of products, materials, or supplies which are manufactured or produced with at least 10% post-consumer recycled materials. This policy shall not operate when it would result in the purchase of products, materials, or supplies that are of inadequate quality, not readily available or substantially higher in cost. It is the intent of Owner to continually increase the percentage produced from post-consumer recycled material, and, to increase each year the types and variety of products, materials, or supplies purchased with post-consumer recycled material.

Recycling Policy. (i) SCPPA supports the use of recycled-content products of all types. Recycled-content products help conserve natural resources, including water and energy, and reduce demands upon landfills. (ii) To the extent feasible, Seller shall submit all written documents on paper with a minimum of thirty percent (30%) post-consumer recycled content. Existing company/corporate letterhead and/or stationery that accompanies these documents is exempt from this requirement. Documents of two (2) or more pages in length shall be duplex-copied (double- sided pages). Neon or fluorescent paper shall not be used in any written documents submitted to Buyers.

Recycling Policy. In an effort to address environmental concerns, the District has established a goal of "Zero Waste". The District maintains a policy of mandatory recycling on the Fairgrounds. We are committed to doing our part to insure a clean, environmentally safe world for future generations to enjoy. When conducting services on District property Contractors must breakdown (flatten) all cardboard boxes and place them inside the blue cardboard recycling dumpsters found in designated areas of the Fairground. Please do not use cardboard boxes for trashcans. Other items which must also be recycled include glass bottles, plastic containers, tin, aluminum, metals & AAA-D batteries (no automobile batteries). Please use the recycling receptacles provided for public use throughout the grounds for beverage containers. Contractors are not to leave any hazardous materials (including paint) on the Fairgrounds. They must be removed when you leave the grounds. Use of polystyrene foam containers is prohibited. If you have questions regarding this policy, please contact the District Sustainability Coordinator at (000) 000-0000. Violators may be fined up to $200.00 per instance for not following the District Recycling Policy.

Any promotional, discounted or guaranteed price for service applies only to the price of the particular service or services identified, and excludes the Separate Fees and Charges.

  • Claims Handling If a credible claim is made or threatened, for which Newegg is entitled to indemnification from Seller including without limitation the filing of a lawsuit against Newegg, or the receipt of a demand or notice by Newegg or Newegg elects to defend any claim for which Newegg is entitled to indemnification: 12.2.1. Newegg shall have the right to engage counsel of its choosing that Newegg deems, in its sole discretion, to be necessary for a competent defense of the suit; 12.2.2. Newegg shall pay all legal fees and expenses incurred in defense of the claim or suit as they become due. Seller shall reimburse Newegg for such fees and expenses within thirty (30) days from date of invoice or debit memo from Newegg. After thirty (30) days, Newegg will be entitled to deduct any unpaid invoice or debit memo amount from any amounts owed by Newegg to Seller. This shall not apply to any judgment or settlement amount, which amounts Newegg shall be entitled to notify, invoice or debit Seller's account at any time. 12.2.3. In the event a claim is made or a suit is filed directly against Newegg, and Newegg is defending such claim or suit, then Newegg, in its sole discretion, may settle the claim or suit. If Seller is defending the claim or suit, Seller may not settle the claim of suit absent the written consent of Newegg unless such settlement (i) includes a release of all claims pending against Newegg; (ii) contains no admission of liability or wrongdoing by Newegg; and (iii) imposes no obligations upon Newegg other than an obligation to stop selling any infringing items. Newegg agrees to provide reasonable assistance to Seller, at Seller's expense, regarding such claim or action.
