Reduction in Class or Salary. A. No regular or limited-term regular employee shall be reduced to a position in a lower class for reasons of unsatisfactory performance or physical disability or have his or her salary reduced to a lower step on the salary range for reasons of unsatisfactory performance except for reasonable cause. B. A written notice of such reduction in class or salary stating specifically the cause of the reduction shall be given to the employee. C. In accordance with the provisions of Article X, an appeal of reduction in class for reasons of unsatisfactory performance or physical disability, or an appeal of reduction in salary for unsatisfactory performance, shall be initiated at Step 2 of the grievance/appeal procedure; except that reductions in class or salary imposed by the County Executive Officer may be referred directly to arbitration. D. Per agreement of March 4, 2005, the parties may agree if requested by AOCDS, to substitute the Reduction in Salary form of discipline for a proposed suspension. The Reduction in Salary form of discipline may only be imposed in place of a proposed suspension if requested by AOCDS.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains the existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation. 2. If the employee chooses to vacate the position or does not meet the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the layoff procedure specified in Article 31 of this Agreement applies.

  • Reduction of Compensation If the Firm fails to meet the submission date by less than thirty days for the draft report and/or working papers submitted to the Office of the State Auditor for review and approval or by less than thirty days from the completion date for the final reports and/or corrections to the working papers prescribed herein, the District may, with the consent of the Office of the State Auditor, reduce the agreed compensation by an amount not to exceed ten percent of the total contract price for the applicable fiscal year.   • Salary Adjustments At any time during the term of this Contract, the Board may, in its discretion, review and adjust the salary of the Superintendent, but in no event shall the Superintendent be paid less than the salary set forth in Section 3.1 of this Contract except by mutual agreement of the two parties.
