Regular Duty Hours of the SROs. 1. The SROs shall be assigned to their primary schools on a full-time basis of eight (8) hours on those days and during those hours that the schools are in regular session. The primary purpose of the Program is to provide services during normal school hours. However, because it is desirable to have SROs attend school activities conducted outside of normal school hours, the principal(s) of the assigned school(s) and the SRO Police Supervisory Staff may agree to adjust the working hours of the SRO. Any overtime hours worked by an SRO for District events shall be paid pursuant to Article IV(A)(3). a) An SRO may be temporarily assigned other duties by the City during school holidays and vacations or during the period of a law enforcement emergency or law enforcement related training as determined by the City. The Parties agree that no compensation or refund of any funds provided in Article IV will be owed to the District during such temporary absence or assignment except as provided for in Article VII. D. b) An SRO shall attempt to schedule vacations and floating holidays during periods when school is not in session. Any exception may be granted if approved by the SRO Supervisor after consultation with the principal of any affected school(s). Notwithstanding any provision contained herein to the contrary, the Parties agree that no compensation or refund of any funds provided in Article IV will be owed to the District during such approved vacations and floating holidays.

The Chief of Police or designee shall provide notice to the District’s Security Manager prior to temporarily assigning an SRO to other duties, except when a law enforcement emergency prevents prior notice. In such circumstances, the Chief of Police or designee shall provide notice as soon as practicable. 2.4.3 An SRO shall attempt to schedule vacations and floating holidays during periods when school is not in session. Any exception may be granted if approved by the Chief of Police or designee after consultation with the principal of any affected school(s). 2.4.4 When schools are closed due to in-service training, the SRO, if invited by the school administrators, may attend the in-service training or use those hours for SRO administrative duties. This section does not apply to the mandatory training described in Section 6.2.

  • Regular Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except for interruptions for lunch periods.

  • Hours of Duty (a) The prescribed hours of duty may be worked with flexible commencement and finishing times in accordance with the provisions of this clause. (b) For the purpose of leave, public holidays and days in lieu of the repealed Public Service Holidays, a day shall be credited as 7.5 hours.

Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD Section 1 Work Day For the applicable agreement period, the normal work day will be seven and one-quarter (7 ¼) hours including arrival time fifteen (15) minutes before and departure time (15) minutes after the students’ school day. The normal work day will include uninterrupted prep time. The Building Principal, as authorized by the Superintendent, upon request of a teacher or group of teachers, may waive the requirement to remain fifteen (15) minutes after the school day for a specific day or days. It is recognized; however, that the proper performance of their duties may, on occasion, require these persons to work longer than the normal work day, i.e. for conferences, faculty meetings, department meetings, etc. Therefore, “mandatory meetings will occur two times per month and be no longer than 90 minutes in length, inclusive of the additional 15 minutes beyond the scheduled student school day. A schedule of the meetings will be distributed by June 30th of the previous school year, but may be changed at the discretion of the Principal with 48 hours’ notice.” Teachers will also remain at school after the fifteen (15) minutes described above, during one (1) day each calendar week for such periods of time as is necessary to provide students extra help, and/or to meet with parents or guardians, concerning the progress of their children or wards. No teacher shall be required to work more than a normal seven and one- quarter (7 ¼) hour day, including fifteen (15) minutes before and (15) minutes after the students’ school day, which will include uninterrupted prep time; this provision does not apply to other contractually agreed upon time and meetings. Should state law require a longer instructional day, or more days, the teachers shall work the added time and the parties shall immediately commence impact bargaining on the issue. This article does not purport to cover the arrival and departure time of teachers involved in special assignments. Section 2 Other Personnel Personnel other than classroom teachers will work at their assigned tasks for the length of the regular teachers' work day. The exact daily schedule will be worked out on an individual basis between the Administration and the employee with notification to the Association. Instructional Coaches are required to work an additional five (5) days at their per diem rate, beyond the work year for a total of 189 days. These days will be determined prior to the start of the new school year and at the discretion of the Superintendent and the Chief Academic Officer.

  • Carry Forward to a Subsequent Year If you do not withdraw the excess contribution, you may carry forward the contribution for a subsequent tax year. To do so, you under-contribute for that tax year and carry the excess contribution amount forward to that year on your tax return. The six percent excess contribution penalty tax will be imposed on the excess amount for each year that it remains as an excess contribution at the end of the year. You must file IRS Form 5329 along with your income tax return to report and remit any additional taxes to the IRS.

  • Distributions on Account of Separation from Service If and to the extent required to comply with Section 409A, no payment or benefit required to be paid under this Agreement on account of termination of the Executive’s employment shall be made unless and until the Executive incurs a “separation from service” within the meaning of Section 409A.

  • Regular Benefits The Executive shall also be entitled to participate in any and all employee benefit plans, medical insurance plans, life insurance plans, disability income plans, retirement plans, bonus incentive plans and other benefit plans from time to time in effect for senior executives of the Employer. Such participation shall be subject to (i) the terms of the applicable plan documents, (ii) generally applicable policies of the Employer and (iii) the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Employer or any administrative or other committee provided for in or contemplated by such plan.
