Rehearsal, dressing room and performance facilities. A. In each theater where the Artists shall perform there shall be a sufficient number of chairs and mirrors in each dressing room, as well as reasonably accessible toilet and washing facilities for both men and women.
B. All rehearsal rooms shall be thoroughly cleaned. Employer will make best efforts to ensure that dressing rooms are in satisfactory condition prior to first rehearsal.
C. Before each performance the stage shall be washed down with soap, water and germicide. Employer will make best efforts to clean the stage prior to each on-stage rehearsal.
1. Within the hour prior to the first Technical or Dress rehearsal (usually 10 minutes prior to the start of the rehearsal, but always at a mutually agreed upon time), a designated AGMA Representative and the Director of Production or Head Xxxxxxxxx shall perform a Safety and Health check of the Set. The Employer agrees to instruct the proper persons to eliminate any hazards found during such check.
2. At 10 minutes prior to the first staging rehearsal of any production that has scenic elements in the rehearsal room, a designated AGMA Representative and the Stage Manager or Director of Production shall perform a Safety and Health check of the Set. The Employer agrees to instruct the proper persons to eliminate any hazards found during such check.
E. There shall be no smog or smoke effects utilized, except for those generated by water vapor or dry ice or other harmless technology currently or yet to be developed, the harmlessness of which shall be evidenced to AGMA. Management may request the approval of the use of any other smoke or fog effect so long as it can be demonstrated that ARTIST will not be adversely affected because of their location, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld. In the event that any other smoke or fog effect is used which has not been approved by AGMA, AGMA shall inform MANAGEMENT which shall immediately cease the effect and eliminate the effect from the area. Employer further agrees to make available to AGMA all applicable Material Safety Data Sheets prior to any stage smoke or fog usage. The Employer may not recycle or re-use any substances used for stage effects such as, but not limited to, snow effects. An accommodation shall be made for any Artist who has an adverse reaction to the smoke or fog effect utilized including a change in location or not being required on stage when the effect is in use.

(5) MANAGEMENT shall provide a facility for safekeeping of wallets and other valuables while ARTISTS are working in the Theater.

(6) During half (½) hour prior to curtain going up, the stage or adjacent space will be free for use by the ARTISTS whenever possible.

(e) There shall be no smoke or fog effects utilized, except for those generated by water vapor or dry ice. All special effects shall be created and used in a manner that is not dangerous nor injurious to ARTISTS.
(f) First Aid kits shall be maintained at all rehearsal and performance venues.
(g) OPERA THEATRE will make best efforts to ensure that ARTISTS rehearse and perform choreography (including marking choreography) on sprung floors. SOLO DANCERS and DANCERS shall not be required to rehearse or perform on other than sprung floors.

(d) In any rehearsal room or stage, the floor of such room or stage shall be maintained in proper condition for such work, including floor work, and cleaned prior to such rehearsals.
(e) The Employer agrees to provide on tour sufficient barres for stage and for every warm-up. Dancers should have at least one barre present during performances, space permitting.
(f) During half (1/2) hour prior to curtain going up, the stage or adjacent space will be free for use by the Artists whenever possible.
(g) On all tours, the Employer shall make best efforts to provide Internet access in all theaters, U.S. and International.

3. If body make-up is required EMPLOYER will make best efforts to ensure that all performance venues have hot water and showering facilities available. If hot water and shower facilities are not available, body make-up will not be required for on-stage technical or dress rehearsals, however body make up for performances will be at the discretion of the Artistic Director. Should it be required, EMPLOYER shall provide an alternative method of makeup removal (e.g. “Wet wipe” disposable pre-moistened cloths).
4. EMPLOYER agrees to provide piano accompaniment for all classes and scheduled rehearsals whenever possible.
5. The EMPLOYER agrees to provide sufficient barres for stage and for every warm-up while on tour.
6. At the “Artist 15 minutes” prior to curtain going up, the stage or adjacent space will be free for use by the ARTISTS whenever possible.

(a) In each theater where the Artists shall perform, the Employer shall endeavor to have a sufficient number of chairs and mirrors in each dressing room, as well as reasonably accessible toilet and washing facilities for both men and women.
(b) The Employer will endeavor to have all rehearsal rooms thoroughly cleaned.
(c) After each setting of the stage, the Employer will make a special effort to check for loose nails, splinters and firmness of sets.
