Rehearsal, dressing room and performance facilities. (1) In each theater where the ARTISTS shall perform there shall be a sufficient number of chairs and mirrors in each dressing room, as well as reasonably accessible toilet and washing facilities backstage for both men and women.
(2) All rehearsal and dressing rooms shall be thoroughly cleaned.
(3) If hot water and shower facilities are not available, body make-up will not be required.
(4) The EMPLOYER agrees to provide piano accompaniment for all classes and scheduled rehearsals whenever possible.
(5) The EMPLOYER agrees to provide on tour sufficient barres for stage and for every warm-up.
(6) During half (1/2) hour prior to curtain going up, the stage or adjacent space will be free for use by the ARTISTS whenever possible.

(2) All rehearsal rooms shall be thoroughly cleaned.
(3) The stage shall be cleaned before each performance.
(4) After each setting of the stage, it shall be checked for loose nails, splinters and firmness of sets. MANAGEMENT agrees to be responsible for such a check and shall instruct the proper persons to eliminate any hazards that may exist.
(5) MANAGEMENT shall provide a facility for safekeeping of wallets and other valuables while ARTISTS are working in the Theater.
Rehearsal, dressing room and performance facilities. It is the Company’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthful workplace. AGMA recognizes that, because many areas of the workplace (particularly those at the periphery of the stage) are frequently in darkness and because items kept in all areas will change often, there is also a constant need for Artists to exercise care. AGMA representatives may review at any reasonable time all staging and staging changes. Company shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal ordinances, statutes, rules, and regulations regarding health and safety. In addition, the following rules shall be applicable in all areas where Artists are required to perform or rehearse as a prerequisite to such performance or rehearsal:
(a) In each theatre or rehearsal space where the Artists shall perform or rehearse there shall be a sufficient number of chairs, tables, and mirrors in each dressing room, if any, as well as reasonably accessible toilet and washing facilities for all Artists. Such facilities shall be kept clean and sanitary, in good working order, and shall be reasonably adequate for the number of persons they are intended to accommodate. Best efforts will be made to ensure that all restroom facilities are stocked with scent-free soap, paper towels, and toilet paper prior to each call in which any Artist is present. Regarding the Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Pavilion, Company shall make best efforts to ensure that The Music Center cleans dressing rooms and bathrooms prior to services which require the use of dressing rooms and bathrooms, and that non-emergency maintenance and cleaning shall not be scheduled at times that conflict with rehearsals or performances.
(b) Whenever Artists are requested to apply their own makeup, Company shall provide each Artist with an individual makeup sponge and brush kit to be used solely for said Artist during the run of that production and then returned. Company shall provide adequate numbers of makeup stations in the dressing rooms. Company shall provide fragrance-free products when available. Whenever Choristers/Dancers are required to wear body make up that provides substantial coverage on the torso below the neckline, on the arms above the elbow, or on the legs or feet, Company shall provide all such Artists with wash cloths and towels for use in removing that make-up.
(c) Company shall post notices in all dressing room bathrooms instructing Artists that body make-up shall not be removed in the sinks.

(b) All rehearsal rooms shall be maintained in thoroughly cleaned condition.
(c) Before each performance the stage shall be washed down with soap, water and germicide.
(d) After each setting of the stage, it shall be checked for loose nails, splinters and firmness of sets. The OPERA THEATRE agrees to be responsible for such a check and shall instruct the proper persons to eliminate any hazards that may exist.
(e) There shall be no smoke or fog effects utilized, except for those generated by water vapor or dry ice. All special effects shall be created and used in a manner that is not dangerous nor injurious to ARTISTS.
(f) First Aid kits shall be maintained at all rehearsal and performance venues.
(g) OPERA THEATRE will make best efforts to ensure that ARTISTS rehearse and perform choreography (including marking choreography) on sprung floors. SOLO DANCERS and DANCERS shall not be required to rehearse or perform on other than sprung floors.

3. If body make-up is required EMPLOYER will make best efforts to ensure that all performance venues have hot water and showering facilities available. If hot water and shower facilities are not available, body make-up will not be required for on-stage technical or dress rehearsals, however body make up for performances will be at the discretion of the Artistic Director. Should it be required, EMPLOYER shall provide an alternative method of makeup removal (e.g. “Wet wipe” disposable pre-moistened cloths).
4. EMPLOYER agrees to provide piano accompaniment for all classes and scheduled rehearsals whenever possible.
5. The EMPLOYER agrees to provide sufficient barres for stage and for every warm-up while on tour.
6. At the “Artist 15 minutes” prior to curtain going up, the stage or adjacent space will be free for use by the ARTISTS whenever possible.
