Release Time for Examinations. Permanent employees shall be granted release time from work without loss of pay to take CCCERA examinations or take interviews for a CCCERA position provided the employee gives their Department sufficient notice of the need for time off. Managers conducting interviews should provide an adequate and appropriate schedule for the interview to ensure that any operational impact that may be caused by an employee’s absence to attend the interview will be minimized.
