Rated Positions When an employee temporarily relieves (for one shift or more) in a higher paying position included in this Agreement for which a flat rate of pay is established, he/she shall receive the rate for the job. When an employee temporarily (for one shift or more) relieves in a higher paying position included in this Agreement for which a salary range has been established, he/she shall receive the rate in the salary range which is next higher to his/her present rate.
