Removal Expenses. 70.1. Where an employee is required to transfer to an alternate work location that is more than 48 kilometres from the place where the employee has been employed for a period of at least two years, such employee shall be reimbursed reasonable removal expenses by the employer to which the employee transfers 70.2. Provided that in the case of a transfer where an employee is required by their new employer to reside at a distance less than 50 kilometres from their former residence the employee shall not be reimbursed reasonable removal expenses.
