Report of the Committee. The Vice President for Academic Affairs and the faculty member will be notified of the decision in writing and will be given a copy of the record of the hearing within fifteen (15) days of the hearing. If the Ad Hoc For Cause Committee concludes that adequate cause for dismissal has been established, it reports this to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. If the committee determines that disciplinary action less than dismissal would be more appropriate, it will so recommend to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, with supporting reasons. If the Ad Hoc For Cause Committee concludes that the evidence has not established adequate cause for dismissal in the record, it will so report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. If the Vice President for Academic Affairs rejects the report of the committee, he/she will state his/her reasons for doing so in writing to the Ad Hoc For Cause Committee and to the faculty member, and forward the case to the President. The President may support or overturn the recommendation of the committee or Vice President for Academic Affairs.

  • Scope of the Committee The Committee shall not have the power to bind the Union or its members, or the Employer to any decision or conclusion reached in discussion. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction over any matter contained in this Collective Agreement, including its administration or renegotiation. The Committee shall not supersede the activities of any other committee of the Union or of the Employer.

  • Mandate of the Committee The mandate of the Education Worker Diverse and Inclusive Workforce Committee is to jointly explore and identify best practices that support diversity, equity, inclusion and to xxxxxx diverse and inclusive workforces reflective of Ontario’s diverse communities.

  • Referral to the Committee a) Prior to referral to the Committee, the matter shall be brought to the attention of the other local party.

  • Composition of the Committee The Committee will comprise: - one (1) retiree appointed by OPSEU CAAT Academic - one (1) retiree appointed by OPSEU CAAT Support - one (1) retiree appointed by the Ontario Colleges Administrative Staff Association (OCASA) - three (3) management representatives appointed by the Council - one (1) resource person appointed by OPSEU - one (1) resource person appointed by OCASA - one (1) resource person appointed by the Council Additionally, when necessary, representatives of insurance carriers shall attend meetings to provide information but shall not act as resource persons for any of the parties.

  • Purpose of the Committee In order to xxxxxx better relations between the parties, the purpose of the Committee shall be to discuss matters of mutual concern including matters pertaining to the improvement of quality health care and safe nursing practice. The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the Union and to the Employer.

  • Duties of the Committee The Committee will be responsible for developing recommendations based on consensus (agreement and/or abstinence constitutes consensus) for the CAAT retirees' group insurance plans. The duties of the Committee are to:

  • Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and may meet more frequently as needed. Notwithstanding the above, any anticipated changes to the hospitalization and health insurance program which would result in a program less than equivalent to the existing program shall be subject to negotiations.

  • Joint Insurance Committee The Committee shall be referred to as the Joint Insurance Committee (Academic Employees).

  • Calendar Committee ‌ During the fall semester each year the District shall establish a Calendar Committee. ECCE shall be entitled to appoint two voting members as its representatives on the committee.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.
