Common use of Report Pay Clause in Contracts

Report Pay. Nurses who report for work as scheduled (unless otherwise notified in advance) and are released from duty by the Employer because of low census shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours’ work at the regular rate of pay. This commitment shall not apply when the Employer has made a good faith effort to notify the nurse at least one and one-half (1 ½) hours in advance of the scheduled shift. It shall be the responsibility of the nurse to notify the Hospital of the employee’s current address and telephone number.
