Accrual of PTO. Accruals are based upon hours actually worked. Part-time employees will earn PTO hours on a pro-rated basis, according to the applicable accrual rate per hour. Length of service will determine the rate at which an employee will accrue PTO. PTO does not accrue during unpaid leaves of absences. No PTO hours will accrue beyond the listed maximum accruals.

Accrual of PTO. A. PTO Plan days begin accruing on the first day of employment. Full-time employees accrue on the basis of recorded employment status and the length of service. Part-time employees accrue on the basis of hours paid or recorded employment status (whichever is the greatest), not to exceed eighty (80) hours per pay period and their length of service. B. Accrual of PTO. Each Resident shall accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) annually as a first-year Resident, as a second-year Resident, and as a third- year Resident. PTO is to be used for holidays, vacations, education/training leave, reasons of a personal necessity and incidental, short-term illnesses. Training leave shall include time spent in general conferences, preceptorships, and individual study. Each fulltime Resident shall earn PTO according to the following schedule. Accrual rates shown may be adjusted to reflect any unpaid leave time: Year of Service Accrual Annual PTO Resident 1st year 36 days a year Resident 2nd year 36 days a year Resident 3rd year 36 days a year Each day of PTO accrued equals eight (8) hours of paid time at the Resident’s base hourly rate. All 36 days of PTO will be automatically accrued at once and front-loaded in to the Resident’s PTO bank at the beginning of each academic year in the first full pay period in July.
Accrual of PTO. Subject to the provisions and limitations of this Agreement, regular full-time employees shall accrue from the date of hire as probationary employees PTO benefits according to the following schedule: Years of Continuous Service PTO Accrued Per Year 1st and 2nd year 22 days per year 3rd, 4th, and 5th years 28 days per year 6th through 10th years 31 days per year 11th year through 15th years 34 days per year 16th year and over 36 days per year 9.3.1 PTO accrual for part-time employees. Regular Part-Time Employees will accrue PTO as defined above, on a pro-rata basis determined by the actual hours worked. 9.3.2 PTO accrual for regular full-time employees. Regular full-time Employees whose date of hire is before the effective date of this Agreement, shall accrue thirty-seven (37) days of PTO per year for sixteen (16) continuous years of service or greater.
Accrual of PTO. Full time employees begin to accrue PTO on their first day of the month following completion of the probationary period and will accrue PTO thereafter at the following rate: a. After completing their probationary period, Employees with less than one (1) year of service shall accrue up to three (3) days per year for their first year of employment, at the rate of 1/3 day per month. b. Employees with one (1) to two (2) years of continuous employment shall accrue fifteen (15) days of PTO per year, at the rate of 1.25 days per month. c. Employees with three (3) to five (5) years of continuous employment shall accrue seventeen (17) days of PTO per year, at the rate of 1.42 days per month. d. Employees with six (6) to ten (10) years of continuous employment shall accrue twenty (20) days of PTO per year, at the rate of 1.67 days per month. e. Employees with eleven (11) or more years of continuous employment shall accrue twenty-five (25) days of PTO per year, at the rate of 2.08 days per month. Employees shall be credited with their full accrual each January 1st. They may use those days anytime after January 1st. However, if an employee leaves his/her employment, he/she will only be cashed out for the number of days he/she has actually accrued. New employees shall be credited with their three day accrual upon completion of their probationary period. However, if such an employee leaves his/her employment, he/she will only be cashed out for the number of days he/she has actually accrued.

Accrual of PTO. An RN classified as full-time/part-time with benefits accrues PTO based on service date (see Glossary) and hours worked, HC hours (Code 12 and Code 20), PTO hours (Code 10 and Code 11), ESL hours, EL hours and eligible overtime.
