Common use of Representatives of Canadian Union Clause in Contracts

Representatives of Canadian Union. (a) The Union shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when meeting with the Employer.

Such representatives shall have access to the Board's premises in order to investigate and assist in the settlement of grievances providing the representatives shall first request such access from the appropriate Executive Staff member.

(a) The Union shall have the right to have the assistance of a Representative of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when dealing with or negotiating with the Council, or Council Representatives, and Council shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of representatives a Representative of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when meeting with the Employertheir choice.

Such representatives/ advisors shall have such access to the Employer’s premises as is necessary in order to deal with any matters arising out of this Collective Agreement upon arranging for the same in advance with the Employer. Such request shall not be unreasonably denied.
