Common use of Requested Time Off Clause in Contracts

Requested Time Off. Management will respond in writing to an Employee’s leave requests within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the employee’s written request to confirm with the employee whether the leave is denied or approved. Employees shall make a good faith effort to submit leave requests prior to the posting of a new schedule. Paid time off requests made more than one (1) month in advance shall not be unreasonably denied. Written requests for PTO may be made up to six (6) months in advance of the requested time off.
