Common use of Requests for Vacation Leave Clause in Contracts

Requests for Vacation Leave. Requests for vacation leave shall be made on forms provided by the City to the immediate Supervisor no less than two (2) weeks in advance of the requested vacation time. Request for vacation with less than two (2) weeks’ notice may be approved by the Department Head. Vacation shall be granted at the time requested by the employee unless the nature of the work makes it necessary to limit the number of employees on vacation at the same time.
