Common use of Reserve Duty Leave Clause in Contracts

Reserve Duty Leave. A regular full-time employee who is a member of an armed forces Reserve or National Guard unit, when called for summer camp, will be granted unpaid leave up to fifteen (15) calendar days to fulfill such duty. If the unit is called for special duty, up to thirty (30) calendar days will be granted, which period may be extended by the Board, provided such extension shall be non-precedential and in the sole discretion of the Board. The employee shall present proof of compensation received for reserve duty and the College will compensate the employee for the difference in base pay during such a period of absence.
