Resident Orientation. Residents attending mandatory orientation activities prior to the 4 start of their appointment will be paid according to their appointment level. The following 5 activities are paid: GME Orientation, program orientation, EHR training and LMS 6 modules.

Resident Orientation. Residents are required to attend all program orientation days and to complete all online training modules, as required by his/her specialty and training sites, by the specified deadlines. Residents, either during the orientation process or at times throughout the academic year, will be required to attend in-person training on the electronic health record (EHR) systems utilized at SJMC and affiliated training sites. Residents may not be provided with access to these systems until the defined training requirements have been met. This includes but is not limited to training on the inpatient and outpatient EHR.
Resident Orientation. If Resident is a new hire and Resident attends new hire orientation, Employer shall pay Resident One Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($100.00) less applicable withholdings and deductions per day for each day Resident attends new hire orientation prior to the Effective Date.

Resident Orientation. Residents who are new to a UW GME training program are required to attend an in-person UW Medicine Orientation.   • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Orientation The Employer shall provide planned and paid Orientation Programs of such content and duration as it deems appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Employer and the Nurses involved. Such Nurses will not be considered part of core staffing during their Orientation Program nor will they be provided with primary assignments.

  • Safety Orientation As a condition of employment it is the sole responsibility of each and every employee to obtain, hold and maintain all current certification(s) in any and all legislated safety training requirements (i.e. WHMIS, Fall Arrest, etc.) that are trade specific and/or specific to the construction industry as a whole. Supporting documentation of all legislated training must be provided by the employee to the Union prior to dispatch and to the employer upon hire and may be further requested by the employer at any time during the duration of their employment. Prior to the expiration of any certification, the Employer will notify the Employee of the pending expiration and give the Employee reasonable time to renew their certification. Further, prior to arriving at site, employees shall hold current certification for the specific tasks identified in the dispatch request, such as Spark Watch, Confined Space Watch and so on. If the employee has to be trained after dispatch, all costs borne by the Employer shall be reimbursed by the Training Fund. All employees shall be certified in Safety Orientation. Safety Orientation shall consist of three parts: Part 1 - the CODC Interactive Rights and Responsibilities Course. Part 2 - the XXXX course or equivalent.

  • New Hire Orientation The Union’s Business Representative or designee shall be given the opportunity to make a membership presentation at the employer’s regularly scheduled new employee orientation sessions.

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

  • Union Orientation During orientation of newly hired Nurses, the Employer will allow up to thirty (30) minutes for a representative of the Local Union to speak with the newly hired Nurses.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.
