Rest and Meal Breaks. 14.1. If an employee’s work period is 2 hours or more but not more than 4 hours, the employee is entitled to one 10-minute paid rest break. 14.2. If an employee’s work period is more than 4 hours but not more than 6 hours, the employee is entitled to one 10-minute paid rest break and one unpaid 30-minute meal break. 14.3. If an employee’s work period is more than 6 hours but not more than 8 hours, the employee is entitled to a two 10-minute paid rest breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break. 14.4. If an employee’s work period is more than 8 hours but not more than 10 hours, the employee is entitled to a three 10-minute paid rest breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break. 14.5. If an employee’s work period is more than 10 hours but not more than 12 hours, the employee is entitled to a three 10-minute paid rest breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break. 14.6. If an employee’s work period is more than 12 hours, the employee is entitled to three 10- minute paid rest breaks and two unpaid 30-minute meal breaks. 14.7. Where an employee is required to remain within the facility during their break or an employee agrees to forfeit their meal break at the request of the employer, they will be paid. 14.8. The employer shall make available tea, coffee, milo, milk, and sugar.
