Common use of Rest Break during Overtime Clause in Contracts

Rest Break during Overtime. (a) An Employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the Employer’s premises and who is required to work for more than four hours, will be allowed 20 minutes for the partaking of a meal and a further 20 minutes after each subsequent four hours overtime; all such time will be counted as time worked. (b) The meals referred to in clause 27.6(a) will be allowed to the Employee free of charge.

Where the facility is unable to provide such meals, a meal allowance, as prescribed in clause 15.3 will be paid to the employee concerned.

Where Xxxxx Street is unable to provide such meals, a meal allowance, as prescribed in clause 20.3, will be paid to the Employee concerned.

(b) 35.7.2 The meals referred to in clause 27.6(a) will be allowed to the Employee employee free of charge. Where an Employer CLC is unable to provide such meals, a meal allowance will be paid to the employee concerned, in accordance with clause 30 of this Agreement.

Where the facility is unable to provide such meals, a meal allowance, as prescribed in Schedule C. will be paid to the employee concerned.
