RETIREMENT EMPLOYMENT. 1. Retired teachers may be given an opportunity, at the employer’s discretion, to work in various part− time capacities (less than 50%) after regular bargaining unit members have been given such opportunity. Seniority will not be accrued in these positions. These positions are exclusive of fringe benefits and pay shall be at the discretion of the employer within the contractual agreement. The Association shall be consulted prior to retiree’s employment. At no time shall the combination of part−time employees create a full−time teaching position.

  • Student Employment (a) Students who are employed to backfill in a bargaining unit position shall be paid the bargaining unit rate and if so employed for more than ten (10) weeks will be a member of the bargaining unit.

  • Subsequent Employment Those teachers whose employment commences after the start of the school year shall pay a pro-rated amount equal to the percentage of the remaining school year.

  • Permanent Employment (FULL - TIME & PART-TIME) For the purpose of this Agreement, permanent employees shall mean both full-time and part-time employees.

  • Project Employment 1. The Employer may appoint employees into project positions for which employment is contingent upon state, federal, local, grant, or other special funding of specific and of time-limited duration. The Employer will notify the employees, in writing, of the expected ending date of the project employment.

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.

  • TEACHER EMPLOYMENT 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.
