Role of the Park Board. The Park Board is an elected board of commissioners with exclusive jurisdiction, possession and control of Vancouver's parks and the authority to organize, conduct and contract with others for recreational programs of all kinds in parks and such other locations as may be approved by the Park Board, pursuant to the provisions of the Vancouver Charter, SBC 1953, c.55 and as otherwise authorized by City Council. Related to Role of the Park Board

  • The Board 6.1 The appointment, dismissal and conduct of the Board shall be regulated in accordance with this agreement and the Articles.

  • Chairman of the Board The Chairman of the Board, if any, shall perform such duties as shall be assigned, and shall exercise such powers as may be granted to him or her by the Manager or the Board.

  • ROLE OF THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CONTACTS 5.01 Primary and Secondary Contact(s). The Resident, in executing this Agreement, is required to identify a “Primary Contact” and a “Secondary Contact”. It is strongly recommended that these contacts are parents or legal guardians of the Resident. The Primary Contact serves as the individual that is contacted by the Manager if concerns or problems arise with the Resident, as detailed in section 5.02 below. If the Primary Contact is not available, the Secondary Contact will be contacted.

  • School Board Any reference to School Board or District in this Agreement shall mean the District and/or its designated officials.

  • Management Board 6.1 The Management Board is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Integrated Service. Its functions and terms of references are set out in Schedule 3 Part I to this Agreement.
