ROOM ATTENDANTS. 1) The number of rooms each room attendant is normally expected to complete on a normal eight (8) hour shift is sixteen (16) rooms; effective January fifteen (15) rooms. If in the judgement of a room attendant, damage has been done to the room which will necessitatea significantlylonger time spent cleaningit, a supervisor must be notified. If the supervisor concurs, someone will be assigned to assist the room attendant. If there is no one available, the room attendant will either be assigned to another room or have the day's room quota reduced by one (1) room.

If in the judgement of a room attendant, damage has been done to the room which will necessitate a significantly longer time spent cleaning it, a supervisor must be notified. If the supervisor concurs, someone will be assigned to assist the room attendant. If there is no one available, the room attendant will either be assigned to another room or have the day's room quota reduced by one (1) room. Clarity Note: The Prince Rupert and Xxxxxx Bay rooms will be treatef as two (2) rooms rooms for the purposes of the quota.
ROOM ATTENDANTS. No housekeeping employee shall be required to clean an unreasonable number of rooms. Room Attendants shall not be required to clean more than fifteen (15) rooms in an eight (8) hour shift. The Nicollet Suite shall count as three (3) rooms. Rooms 630, 764, 867, 896, 901, 930, 1033, 1167 and 1201, shall count as one (1) room. However, when a Room Attendant is assigned two (2) of these rooms, the Housekeeper’s total room quota for that day will be reduced by one (1) room. When a Housekeeper is assigned four (4) of these rooms, the Room Attendant’s total room quota for that day will be reduced by two (2) rooms.

  • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.

  • First Aid Attendant Employees who take time off at the direction of the Employer to take a recognized Industrial First Aid Program shall not suffer a loss of regular pay.

  • Maintenance Employees The normal hours of work for full-time Maintenance employees are 72 ½ hours over a two (2) week period, not to exceed eight (8) hours per day.

  • Lunch If the Company elects to furnish a lunch meal, it will be suitable and may be in the form of a box lunch. The meal shall be eaten at the job site or a Company designated location. Employees eating a box lunch or other Company-provided lunch at the job site will be allowed 30 minutes paid time to eat and will also be granted the dollar amount of the meal allowance as specified under the labor agreement.

  • Catering Cafeteria style of serving meals will be acceptable, providing dishes are carried back by the Culinary Staff. The food shall be of good quality and have the approval of the Camp Committee of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario. There shall be sufficient housekeeping staff supplied by the Culinary Workers to keep the bunkhouses clean, and beds shall be made up each day by such staff. Kitchen facilities, equipment and food supplies shall be subject to inspection by the duly authorized Camp Committee at any and all times and further all grievances shall be dealt with by said Committee.

  • Office Employees The normal work day shall consist of a scheduled period of seven (7) hours of work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The normal work week shall consist of five (5) such days, Monday to Friday inclusive. Any clerical Employee assigned to work in the Public Works Yard Office will have his/her hours of work adjusted to coincide with the finishing time of outside Employees.

  • BEREAVEMENT/TANGIHANGA LEAVE 15.1 The employer shall approve special bereavement leave on pay for an employee to discharge any obligation and/or to pay respects to a deceased person with whom the employee has had a close association. Such obligations may exist because of blood or family ties or because of particular cultural requirements such as attendance at all or part of a Tangihanga (or its equivalent). The length of time off shall be at the discretion of the employer.

  • Passengers THE CARRIER shall be liable for damages resulting from the death of a Passenger or any bodily injury sustained by a Passenger if the act causing the damages took place on board the aircraft or during boarding or deboarding operations.

  • Firefighters Any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be regularly and routinely staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters for the period of time that the aerial ladder is inoperative, or until such time as the truck with the inoperative aerial ladder is replaced with a truck with an operative aerial ladder. At 0800 and 2000 hours, all trucks shall be staffed with one (1) officer and four (4) firefighters, and any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters.

  • Funeral/Bereavement Leave In the event of death in the immediate family of an employee, the employee will be granted leave of absence with pay, with consideration given to travel time for the purpose of attending the funeral.
