Salary Increment While Acting. Should an employee act in a position for one (1) year or more, the employee so acting shall be eligible to receive an increment in the salary scale in which he/she is acting, provided that he/she is not already at the maximum of that salary scale. It is recognized that upon return from acting to the employee's position, the employee's increment date remains unchanged and the employee will be returned to the salary scale of his/her position at the increment level to which he/she is entitled in accordance with Article 24.
