Sales Charges. With respect to any Class of Shares which imposes an initial sales charge or sales load, or contingent deferred sales load, that part of the sales charges or sales loads which is retained by the Distributor after reallowance of discounts to dealers as set forth, if required, in the Registration Statement, including the Prospectus, filed with the SEC and in effect at the time of the offering, as amended.
Sales Charges. On each purchase of Shares by Dealer (but not including the reinvestment of any dividends or distributions), Dealer shall be entitled to receive such dealer allowances, sales charges or other compensation, if any, as may be set forth in the Prospectus. Sales charge reductions and discounts may be available as provided in the Prospectus. To obtain any such reductions, the Fund or its transfer agent must be notified promptly when a transaction or transactions would qualify for the reduced charge, and Dealer must submit information that is sufficient (in the discretion of the Fund) to substantiate qualification therefor. If Dealer fails to so advise the Fund, Dealer will be liable for the return of any commissions plus interest thereon. Each price is always subject to confirmation and will be based upon the NAV next determined after receipt of an order that is in good form. If any Shares purchased are repurchased by the Fund for any reason within seven (7) business days after confirmation of the purchase order for such Shares, Dealer shall promptly refund the full sales load, and Dealer will forfeit the right to receive any compensation allowable or payable to it on such Shares. The Fund reserves the right to waive sales charges. Dealer represents that it is eligible to receive any such sales charges paid to it under this section.
Sales Charges. Most mutual funds offer different share classes. Although each share class represents a similar interest in the mutual fund’s portfolio, the mutual fund will charge you different fees and expenses depending upon your choice of share class. Class A shares carry a “front-end” sales charge or “load” that is deducted from your investment at the time you buy fund shares. This sales charge is a percentage of your total purchase. Many mutual funds offer volume discounts, which are called “breakpoint discounts.” In contrast, Class B and C shares usually do not carry any front-end sales charges. Instead, investors that purchase Class B or C shares pay asset-based fees, which may be higher than the charges associated with Class A shares over the length of the investment. Investors that purchase Class B and C shares may also be required to pay a contingent deferred sales charge when shares are sold.
Sales Charges. (1) There is no front-end load on investments in Class C Shares. (2) A 1.00% CDSC may apply to the original purchase price, or current value if less, of any Class C Shares if redeemed within the contingency period of one (1) year following their purchase. Shares not subject to CDSC will be sold first and the rest of the Shares will be redeemed in the order they were purchased. The CDSC is waived in certain circumstances, as described in the prospectus(es) for the Funds and accompanying SAI(s).
