Your Investment. 1. The Namibia Direct Investment is a registered investment product with the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa). 2. You appoint us to administer your investment. 3. Wealth Namibia Nominees (Pty) Ltd holds the assets in your investment in your name. 4. We hold professional indemnity and fidelity insurance cover as required by law. 5. We use a default investment component for certain transactions and events, which is currently the Momentum Namibia Money Market Fund. This investment component can earn interest while we wait for a transaction date or an investment instruction. 6. If you choose a yearly increase for your regular investment, we will increase the investment amount every year according to your instruction. You can change or cancel your instruction later. 7. If your investment value drops below the minimum amount stated in our guide, we can end this investment agreement. 8. You cannot nominate a beneficiary for this investment. It will form part of your estate when you die. 9. You can transfer units from this investment. If we receive such a request, we will confirm the transfer in writing. 10. If you send us a copy of a security cession agreement, we will note it and confirm it in writing. Until this cession is cancelled, the cessionary must sign all instructions for this investment. 11. We will cancel the security cession when we receive an instruction from the cessionary. 12. If there is a security cession noted on your investment when you die, we will pay the investment value to the cessionary. The cessionary must pay any surplus from this payment to your deceased estate. 13. You can change the ownership of this investment agreement. If we receive a request for a change of ownership, we will confirm the change in writing. 14. You can instruct us to cancel this investment agreement. We will pay you when we have received the sale proceeds from the investment management companies after we have deducted any outstanding fees and tax. The investment value is determined by the investment market and exchange rates between currencies.
Your Investment. 1. You are applying to invest in the portfolio/fund(s) that we administer and manage. 2. The price of a unit in the unit trust scheme is calculated daily, as stated below. This price applies to requests accepted on the same business day. 3. We calculate the net asset value (NAV) based on the total value of all assets in the fund. Your Investment. 1. The Guaranteed Return Option is regulated according to the Long- term Insurance Act and is issued by MMI Group Ltd. 2. You appoint us to administer your investment product. 3. The assets within your investment are held in the name of MMI Group Limited by Momentum Wealth Nominees (Pty) Ltd. 4. We hold fidelity insurance cover as required by law. 5. We use a default investment component for certain transactions and events. This investment component can earn interest while we wait for the transaction date or an investment instruction. 6. The Guaranteed Return Option provides you with a guaranteed income for the five-year investment term and a guaranteed maturity value at the end of the guarantee term. 7. The purpose of this income is to help you meet your living expenses while waiting for the guaranteed maturity payment. You have the option to reinvest it to give you an enhanced guaranteed maturity value at the end of the guarantee term. 8. To achieve the guaranteed return, the income and maturity value components of the product have been split into two policies. 9. Your basic income annuity is regarded as a purchased annuity and subject to withholding tax in terms of the South African Income Tax Act. You do not pay tax on the capital element of such annuity. 10. You can make a full withdrawal at any time. If you request a full withdrawal, you agree to cede all your rights, title and interest in any endowment contract to Momentum Connect (Pty) Ltd in return for payment of the withdrawal amount. 11. If you withdraw, your guarantee will fall away. We will calculate the withdrawal amount based on market conditions at the time. 12. You cannot transfer your investment to another provider. 13. The investment owner is the insured person for this investment. You can choose to appoint other insured persons for the guaranteed maturity value. 14. If you, as the last insured person, die before the end of the investment term, the guarantee structure will unwind. If there is another insured person when you die, the sum of all the remaining income payments will be reinvested to preserve the enhanced guaranteed maturity value. 15. If you are reinvesting this income, the death value will be at least your initial investment amount. 16. You can nominate beneficiaries for proceeds to receive the proceeds of the investment product when the last insured person dies. 17.
