Salvage Work. When a vessel strands outside the Harbour limits, or gets into such condition that the vessel cannot reach a berth without first discharging or shifting cargo, all employees shall be paid at the rate of one-and-one-half times the shift rate. The employees shall befurnished free transportation. Free meals shall be furnished on board the vessel when the employees are not permitted to go ashore.

Salvage Work. Trail Sponsor acknowledges and agrees that after the Effective Date and pursuant to a certain salvage contract, the HHPA will remove certain rail assets along the Premises (“Salvage Work”). Neither the HHPA nor the Owners shall have an obligation to maintain the Salvage Work, and Trail Sponsor hereby releases, and agrees to and hold harmless, the Owners, the HHPA, and their respective principals, officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents – with the exception of the contractor performing the Salvage Work -- from and against any and all claims and/or liability (in law or in equity), and all costs (including attorneys' fees), damages, fines or other expenses related to such claims and liabilities relating in any way to the Salvage Work. Trail Sponsor further acknowledges that the Salvage Work will likely not include removal of rail assets from within road and highway crossings, and that Trail Sponsor will become responsible for maintaining and/or removing such rail assets from crossings consistent with Article XII herein. After completion of the Salvage Work, Trail Sponsor shall accept the Premises “AS-IS, WHERE-IS” without any express or implied warranties, as further specified in Article X, herein.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Demolition work (a) As of 1 October 2020 where Employees are directly performing demolition works that would require a demolition permit that allows the performance of such work, they will receive the amount of $8.35 per hour or the site allowance, whichever is the greater. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents.

  • Contract Work Contract work means capital project work within existing plant facilities, major maintenance and/or revamp work, plant modifications and/or shutdown work, minor maintenance and/or repair work, breakdown maintenance.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.

  • Dirty Work Where an employee and their supervisor agree that work (other than ship repair work) is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 43 cents per hour extra. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that certain ship repair work is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 58 cents per hour extra.

  • MAINTENANCE WORK Landlord reserves the right from time to time, but subject to payment by and/or reimbursement from Tenant as otherwise provided herein: (i) to install, use, maintain, repair, replace, relocate and control for service to the Premises and/or other parts of the Project pipes, ducts, conduits, wires, cabling, appurtenant fixtures, equipment spaces and mechanical systems, wherever located in the Premises or the Project, (ii) to alter, close or relocate any facility in the Premises or the common areas or otherwise conduct any of the above activities for the purpose of complying with a general plan for fire/life safety for the Project or otherwise, and (iii) to comply with any federal, state or local law, rule or order. Landlord shall attempt to perform any such work with the least inconvenience to Tenant as is reasonably practicable, but in no event shall Tenant be permitted to withhold or reduce Basic Rental or other charges due hereunder as a result of same, make any claim for constructive eviction or otherwise make any claim against Landlord for interruption or interference with Tenant's business and/or operations.
