Scheduling and Approving Vacation. (a) With their manager’s approval, nurses may take vacation based on the vacation time already earned and that which will be earned in the current vacation year. Request for vacations must be submitted, in writing, to the Manager no later than March 15 each year. Subject to operational requirements, the Manager will notify the nurse by April 20 if the vacation is granted. Seniority will govern where conflicts arise between requests of two or more nurses. Nurses who work in teams will request vacation on alternate dates.
