Scholarship Award. A. Effective Spring 2024 semester, the University will guarantee a base level of scholarship of at least $1600.00, per semester per student to all bargaining unit members holding an assistantship or combined assistantships of 0.50 FTE or higher, prorated for those with less than a 0.50 FTE or combined FTE held for a majority of the semester. This base level scholarship will be provided each Fall and Spring semester subject to budgetary constraints.
Scholarship Award. The amount of the scholarship will be no less than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per semester and no more than eight thousand five hundred dollars ($8,500.00) per semester with a maximum of four semesters of funding possible. Each semester of support after the first semester is dependent on the student maintaining satisfactory academic progress (defined by WSC). Each student will be informed of their maximum award possible when they are initially offered the scholarship.
Scholarship Award. Maximum and Minimum The maximum amount of the scholarship is $7000.00 per academic semester with a maximum of four academic semesters of funding possible. The scholarship amount is based on the cost of attendance as determined by CSU-Pueblo’s Office of Financial Aid. Each semester of support after the first semester is dependent on the student maintaining good academic progress as defined in the scholarship award letter provided to each particular student. Each student will be informed of his or her maximum award possible when they are initially offered the scholarship by CSU-Pueblo’s Xxxxx Scholars Program. Generally this is equal to the number of remaining semesters left to graduation for that student times $7000.00. Part-time students may receive prorated scholarships. The maximum amount for any one academic year is $14,000.00 (for two full academic semesters. The maximum possible total award for any undergraduate student (junior or senior) is $28,000.00 for two full academic years (four academic semesters).
Scholarship Award. Effective following ratification and signature of this Agreement or resolution of impasse, whichever is later, the University will guarantee a base level of scholarship of at least $650.00 or two (2) credit hours of tuition (including differential tuition for nursing and engineering) and Required Fees (not including additional fees), whichever is greater, per semester per student to all bargaining unit members holding an assistantship or combined assistantships of 0.50 FTE or higher, prorated for those with less than a 0.50 FTE or combined FTE. This base level scholarship will be provided each Fall and Spring semester subject to budgetary constraints. The parties agree to work together to advocate for increased funding for tuition coverage during the Regular 2023 New Mexico State Legislative Session. Should the Legislature provide funding to NMSU for tuition coverage, the parties agree to open negotiations on tuition coverage for bargaining unit members upon the written request of either party between March 15, 2023, and July 1, 2023.

  • Scholarship Faculty Members are entitled and expected to engage in scholarship (as defined in Article 1.1(n)), to show scholarly integrity therein, and to disseminate the results of their scholarship or exhibit the results of their creative work. It is the responsibility of the Employer to provide reasonable resources for the conduct of scholarly activity and its dissemination.

  • Early Retirement Incentive The College may offer to a faculty member or a faculty member may request a choice of one of the early retirement incentive alternatives described herein, provided the faculty member meets the following criteria. The Association shall be advised in writing of any offer of early retirement made to a faculty member.

  • Retirement Incentive a) If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st four (4) years prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for each of his/her remaining four (4) years of service. If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st three (3) years prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for each of his/her remaining three (3) years of service. If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st two (2) years prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for each of his/her remaining two (2) years of service. If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st one (1) year prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for his/her remaining year of service. Once an employee submits an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st, that employee shall be removed from the salary schedule contained in Article IX of this Agreement at the beginning of the following school year. All calculations for increased TRS creditable earnings will be based on the TRS creditable earnings in the year of the submission of the irrevocable notice of retirement. Once the employee submits an irrevocable notice of retirement an employee’s creditable earnings shall be increased by six percent (6%) of the year of submission, but in no case will the employee’s TRS creditable earnings increase exceed six percent (6%) of the year of submission. If, after submitting an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st, the employee resigns from, or is dismissed from duties for which the employee was paid a stipend or additional compensation the previous year, the retirement incentive for that employee will be recalculated accordingly.

  • Tuition The Charter School shall not charge tuition or fees to its students except as may be authorized for local boards pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20-2-133.

  • Education Incentive A. The following monthly education incentive pay will be paid to each employee upon completing the listed degree and providing proof of completion to the Agency. Associate Degree Two percent (2%) Bachelor Degree Four percent (4%)
