School Business Leave. 21.11.1 With the approval of the principal/supervisor, employees shall be excused from their regular duties in order to organize or participate in events which provide educational service to the School District. School business leave that is denied by the principal/supervisor may be submitted to the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources for a final determination as to approval or denial of leave. (2001) 21.11.2 School Business shall include, but not be limited to, District wide or school committee service, curriculum, text and assessment development and review, and evaluation of programs for school improvement.
