CLASS SIZE & CASELOAD SIZE. A. Elementary and Intermediate Grade Class Size The board will maintain class sizes at or below the cap for each class. If there is an extenuating circumstance where a resident student is added and would put a class above the cap and there is no physical space for an additional classroom, then the Association and administration will confer to solve the issue. For the 2024-2025 school year, the Board will maintain the following class size limits: Begindergarten (BK)/ developmental kindergarten 23 Kindergarten 26 1st - 3rd grades 28 4th - 6th grades 30 For the 2025-2026 school year and thereafter, the Board will maintain the following class size limits: Begindergarten (BK)/ developmental kindergarten 23 students or less Kindergarten 26 1st grade 27 2nd - 4th grades 28 5th - 6th grades 30 a. Elementary Choir and General Music classes are not to exceed two (2) classes, except with the consent of all teachers involved. b. Combined grade classes shall not exceed thirty (30) students. c. Intermediate band/choir class size will be at the discretion of the building administration in collaboration with the teachers, and will be based on the curricular needs of the course. Administration will work across buildings and with teachers to create a schedule that allows for the most co-teaching possible if there is a demonstrated need. Choir courses will have an accompanist available for all courses. B. Secondary Grade Class Size The board will maintain class sizes at or below the cap for each class. a. The Board will maintain a class size of thirty-two (32) or less students in 7th - 12th grade classes. Some exceptions follow: i. Laboratory station classes (science, computer, drafting) and MMC English classes shall not exceed thirty (30) students unless the teacher has granted permission to do so. ii. Physical Education (PE) - With exception of PHW, PE classes will have a class size of 40 students. iii. Music - Secondary Band/Choir class size will be at the discretion of the building administration in collaboration with the teachers, and will be based on the curricular needs of the course. Class sizes shall not exceed the upper cap. Overage pay for classroom teachers will be paid for any students above the lower cap at a rate of $250/student per trimester. For specials teachers (Music, Art, P.E.) $50/student per trimester. a. The Board will attempt to maintain a lower cap class size of twenty-three (23) or less students in Begindergarten (BK) / developmental kindergarten. Classes may not exceed the upper cap class size of twenty-five (25) students. b. The Board will attempt to maintain a lower cap class size of twenty-six (26) or less students in Kindergarten - 2nd grade. Classes may not exceed the upper cap class size of twenty-eighty (28) students. c. The Board will attempt to maintain a lower cap class size of twenty-eight (28) or less students in 3rd - 6th grades.   • Class Size a) When CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, CONTRACTOR shall ensure that class size shall not exceed a ratio of one teacher per fourteen (14) pupils. Each classroom with 2 or more students shall be assigned at least one paraprofessional. Upon written approval by an authorized XXX representative, class size may be temporarily increased by a ratio of 1 teacher to sixteen (16) pupils when necessary to provide services to pupils with disabilities. For any billing period where the class size has exceeded sixteen (16) students for five consecutive school days, the CONTRACTOR shall have a 10% decrease in its approved daily rate for those LEA students that exceeded sixteen (16), for those days (over five). b) In the event a nonpublic school is unable to fill a vacant teaching position responsible for direct instruction to students, and the vacancy has direct impact on the California Department of Education Certification of that school, the nonpublic school shall develop a plan to assure appropriate coverage of student by first utilizing existing certificated staff. The nonpublic school and the LEA may agree to one 30 school day period per contract year where class size may be increased to assure coverage by an appropriately credentialed teacher. Such an agreement shall be in writing and signed by both parties. This provision does not apply to a nonpublic agency. c) CONTRACTOR providing special education instruction for individuals with exceptional needs between the ages of three and five years, inclusive, shall also comply with the appropriate instructional adult to child ratios pursuant to California Education Code sections 56440 et seq.

  • SPECIALIZED JOB CLASSES Where there is a particular specialized job class in which the pay rate is below the local market value assessment of that job class, the parties may use existing means under the collective agreement to adjust compensation for that job class.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Xxxx has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Xxxx. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Xxxx (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit. Therefore, non- designed Loops such as the SL1 voice grade and UCL-ND may not be ordered in these cases. 2.6.3 If no alternate facility is available, and upon request from Xxxx, and if agreed to by both Parties, BellSouth may utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision facilities. Xxxx will then have the option of paying the one-time SC rates to place the Loop.

  • Alternate Facilities If under Purchaser’s Operating Schedule, roads needed for the removal of Included Timber differ substantially from Specified Roads, other roads may be added to A7. Contracting Officer shall assure that road routing, location, design, and needed easements will make such other roads acceptable as parts of the National Forest transportation facilities. Purchaser shall provide survey, design, and construction staking for such other roads.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Equipment Procurement If responsibility for construction of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades is to be borne by the Connecting Transmission Owner, then the Connecting Transmission Owner shall commence design of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades and procure necessary equipment as soon as practicable after all of the following conditions are satisfied, unless the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner otherwise agree in writing: 5.5.1 NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner have completed the Interconnection Facilities Study pursuant to the Interconnection Facilities Study Agreement; 5.5.2 The NYISO has completed the required cost allocation analyses, and Developer has accepted his share of the costs for necessary System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S of the NYISO OATT; 5.5.3 The Connecting Transmission Owner has received written authorization to proceed with design and procurement from the Developer by the date specified in Appendix B hereto; and 5.5.4 The Developer has provided security to the Connecting Transmission Owner in accordance with Article 11.5 by the dates specified in Appendix B hereto.

This plan covers additional contact lenses if your prescribing network provider submits a verification form, with the regular claim form, verifying that you have one of the following conditions: • anisometropia of 3D in meridian powers; • high ametropia exceeding -10D or +10D in meridian powers; • keratoconus when the member’s vision is not correctable to 20/25 in either or both eyes using standard spectacle lenses; and • vision improvement for members whose vision can be corrected two lines of improvement on the visual acuity chart when compared to the best corrected standard spectacle lenses.
