School/College. In each departmentalized School/College, there shall also be an elected committee of bargaining-unit faculty members to advise the xxxx/director.
School/College wishes to operate as an IQM Flagship for Inclusion for a minimum period of 3 years from assessment date. If, for any reason, a year is missed out then the contract will expand beyond 3 years until such times as 3 reviews have taken place. • A school that has held Centre of Excellence for at least three years prior to attaining Flagship status for the first time. • Agrees to produce an annual written update of progress against the identified project outline as the basis for the annual review. • Be willing to be an active member of an IQM cluster group of XXX and Flagship Schools. • Attendance at IQM Cluster meetings is a prerequisite to maintaining Flagship Status. • Willing to engage in classroom level research activity that explores inclusive practice. • Has, or is able to develop, the capacity to share and disseminate good inclusion practice across a broader cluster of schools. • Share practice/staff/visits/training. • Committed to sustaining the IQM ethos through collaborative activities. • Be willing and able to support other schools to become IQM schools or Centres of Excellence. • Prepared to contribute to the overall development aims of IQM, supporting the need for expertise or trialling practice.

(minimum period of 3 years) from assessment date. • Commit to an annual IQM visit to validate, support and advise the school about its progress and produce a report to help planning for future developments. • Are committed to Inclusion. • Will show developing capacity to sustain inclusive practice. • Are willing to be an active member of an IQM cluster group of XXX and Flagship Schools. • Have good mechanisms to disseminate, share, encourage and influence good inclusive practice between the schools. • Are engaged in activities and in-house research that explore inclusive practice. • Will maintain the IQM Action Plan and Review document as an annual record of progress and development for the three-year period of this contract. • Are ready to contribute positively to the overall development aims of IQM.   • Flexible Spending Account The parties agree that the State shall have the right to use State Employee Health Plan funds to cover the administrative costs of operating the medical and dependent care flexible spending account programs.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • TEACHER IN CHARGE 1. A Teacher-in-Charge vacancy shall be posted internally within the school. 2. In each school the Board shall fill the Teacher-in-Charge vacancy from among the applicants who responded to the internal posting. 3. In the event that any or all administrative officers assigned to the school are absent from the school, the Teacher-In-Charge may be assigned for periods not exceeding five days at any one time. 4. The Teacher-In-Charge shall not be responsible for the ongoing administrative or managerial duties, and specifically shall not have such responsibilities in relation to other teachers or parents. 5. The Teacher-In-Charge shall ensure that routine supervision necessary for the safety of students and security of the school is maintained and shall handle emergency matters with assistance from district supervisory staff. 6. The teacher shall be covered by the terms and conditions of this Agreement while designated as a teacher-in-charge. 7. A teacher who is designated as a teacher-in-charge shall be provided with any necessary teacher- teaching-on-call coverage as determined by the Administrative Officer and the teacher.
