Scope of EM&A. The scope of this EM&A programme is to: • establish baseline air quality, noise and water quality levels at specified locations; • implement monitoring and site audit requirements for air quality, noise, water quality and ecology monitoring programme; • liaise with, and provide environmental advice (as requested or when otherwise necessary) to construction site staff on the significance and implications of the environmental monitoring data; • identify and resolve environmental issues and other functions as they may arise from the works; • check and quantify the Contractor(s)’s overall environmental performance, implementation of Event and Action Plans (EAPs), and remedial actions taken to mitigate adverse environmental effects as they may arise from the works; • conduct monthly reviews of monitored impact data as the basis for assessing compliance with the defined criteria and to ensure that necessary mitigation measures are identified and implemented, and to undertake additional ad hoc monitoring and auditing as required by special circumstances; • evaluate and interpret environmental monitoring data to provide an early indication should any of the environmental control measures or practices fail to achieve the acceptable standards, and to verify the environmental impacts predicted in the EIA; • manage and liaise with other individuals or parties concerning other environmental issues deemed to be relevant to the construction process; • conduct regular site inspections of a formal or informal nature to assess: - the leve l of the Contractor(s)’s general environmental awareness; - the Contractor(s)’s implementation of the recommendations in the EIA and their contractual obligations; - the Contractor(s)’s performance as a measured by the EM&A; - the need for specific mitigation measures to be implemented or the continued usage of those previously agreed; - to advise the site staff of any identified potential environmental issues; and, - submit monthly EM&A reports which summarise project monitoring and auditing data, with full interpretation illustrating the acceptability or otherwise of any environmental impacts and identification or assessment of the implementation status of agreed mitigation measures.

  • Scope of Engagement Client hereby engages each of Arete and IndieBrokers to act as co-managers of the proposed Offering on a “Best Efforts” basis.   • Scope of Services The specific scope of work for each job shall be determined in advance and in writing between TIPS Member, Member’s design professionals and Vendor. It is permitted for the TIPS Member to provide a general scope description, but the awarded vendor should provide a written scope of work, and if applicable, according to the TIPS Member’s design Professional as part of the proposal. Once the scope of the job is agreed to, the TIPS Member will issue a PO and/or an Agreement or Contract with the Job Order Contract Proposal referenced or as an attachment along with bond and any other special provisions agreed by the TIPS Member. If special terms and conditions other than those covered within this solicitation and awarded Agreements are required, they will be attached to the PO and/or an Agreement or Contract and shall take precedence over those in this base TIPS Vendor Agreement.

  • Scope of Use The Fund will use the System and the Data Access Services only for the processing of securities transactions, the keeping of books of account for the Fund and accessing data for purposes of reporting and analysis. The Fund shall not, and shall cause its employees and agents not to (i) permit any unauthorized third party to use the System or the Data Access Services, (ii) sell, rent, license or otherwise use the System or the Data Access Services in the operation of a service bureau or for any purpose other than as expressly authorized under this Addendum, (iii) use the System or the Data Access Services for any fund, trust or other investment vehicle), other than as set forth herein, without the prior written consent of State Street, (iv) allow access to the System or the Data Access Services through terminals or any other computer or telecommunications facilities located outside the Designated Locations, (v) allow or cause any information (other than portfolio holdings, valuations of portfolio holdings, and other information reasonably necessary for the management or distribution of the assets of the Fund) transmitted from State Street’s databases, including data from third party sources, available through use of the System or the Data Access Services to be redistributed or retransmitted to another computer, terminal or other device for other than use for or on behalf of the Fund or (vi) modify the System in any way, including without limitation developing any software for or attaching any devices or computer programs to any equipment, system, software or database which forms a part of or is resident on the Designated Configuration.
