Seniority in Holiday Scheduling. An Employee who is normally scheduled to work on a day on which a designated holiday falls may not be displaced by a more senior Employee or any other Employee. Employees on a unit and shift basis may request assignment or non-assignment to work a designated holiday on the basis of seniority. Should all Employees exercise seniority for non-assignment, the Employer shall assign Employees by inverse seniority (beginning with the least senior Employee to work the designated holiday).

  • Super Seniority In the event of a layoff, the Plant Chairperson, Committeepersons and Stewards shall have super seniority.

  • Seniority List The Employer shall maintain a seniority list showing the date upon which each employee's service commenced. An up-to-date seniority list shall be sent to the Union and posted on all bulletin boards in January of each year.
