Common use of SHIFT TRADE Clause in Contracts

SHIFT TRADE. Employees may be allowed to trade a full shift or any part of a shift with another employee provided that the trade is acceptable to the Company and prior approval has been secured, It is required that a written request from both employees involved by submitted to the immediate supervisor prior to the time of trade. It is understood that such exchange will not penalize the Company by requiring the payment of any overtime or premium pay.
