Shore Power. There has been a National Electrical Code (NEC) change for Xxxxxx xxxxx power. The Code requires installation of a ground-fault protection device on each slip’s feeder circuit or main feeder circuit. New Marina Construction building permits requires that all National Electrical Codes be implemented. If the shore power shuts off on your power pedestal, the breaker has tripped indicating there is an electrical problem on the boat or in the power cord. Please have a licensed marine electrician trouble shoot the issue. Do not disassemble any part of the power pedestal. This will void the warranty and you will be responsible for the replacement of the power pedestal.
Shore Power. Access to shore power is subject to availability and most be agreed and scheduled with the CRBY office. Hook ups have to be performed by CRBY personnel. Usage will be charged according to valid rates and tariffs. at the time of use. It will be Owners responsibility the to ensure the boat is on line and functioning properly at all times and will not be monitored by CRBY personnel. The use of shore power plugs, wires etc., which are not returned will be charged to the vessel.
Shore Power. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that if shore power is to be used, that the Vessel must at all times have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWOF) and that a copy of the current EWOF must be shown to the BBC prior to the Vessel being connected to shore power at BBC. All leads must be tested and tagged, and all future updates to the EWOF must be provided to the BBC.
Shore Power. Vessels with shore power facility must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness.
Shore Power. Demonstrate the operation of the shore power receptacle to supply power to the vessel. Verify the shore power cable is provided and properly marked. Verify the shore power identification and instruction plate is provided at the receptacle. Demonstrate the operation of the isolation transformer.
Shore Power. All shore power cables, adapters, and dockside male plugs MUST be equipped with an acceptable ground weather-proofing in accordance with the national electrical code. Excessive use of electricity will subject tenant to additional fees.
Shore Power. No Vessel shall be allowed to connect to shore power. It is the Owner’s responsibility to make sure that all battery switches are placed on the OFF position to preserve battery life.
Shore Power. 26.1 Any vessel equipped with a permanent shore power connection must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness and Certificate of Compliance. (See Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010).
Shore Power. All homeported vessels will be shore power capable by the 2026 Cruise Season. The Carnival Lines will connect all home-ported ships unless shore power is unavailable for connection due to actions of the Port of Seattle or Seattle City Light (such as maintenance or outages). On an annual basis the Carnival Lines will meet with the Port of Seattle staff to evaluate home-porting operations and strategies to increase the use of shore power toward a goal of achieving 100-percent use. These requirements are subject to reasonable modification in the future. The Port may, at its option, for purposes of internal and external air quality and emission program planning, tracking, and communications, obtain from the vessel captain, owners or its representatives information about the methods by which ships achieve ECA compliance, (compliance as managed by USCG) about exhaust gas cleaning system operations and fuel use while inside ECA, and about the use of shore power at berth. Information provided will help inform the Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy, regional and Port emission inventory updates, and implementation of Port of Seattle’s Century Agenda and greenhouse gas emission reduction goals.
Shore Power. To the extent Tenant allows vessels to operate at or adjacent to the Premises, Tenant shall plug in 100% of the shore-power ready vessels and shall use best efforts to otherwise capture/control emissions from all other vessels at-berth.
