Common use of Show Up Time Clause in Contracts

Show Up Time. Employees reporting to work and not put to work shall receive four (4) hours pay at their appropriate rate, unless notified not to report at the end of their previous shift or two (2) hours prior to the start of a shift. When the shift is started, four (4) hours shall be allowed. If the second half is started, then a whole shift shall be allowed.
