Common use of Show Up Time Clause in Contracts

Show Up Time. An employee who is scheduled to work and comes to work without having, by reasonable attempt, been notified that there is no work available, and who is sent home because of lack of work, will receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee will also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. If an employee does not show up for their scheduled shift, it is their responsibility to contact the office for their revised schedule.
