Sick Leave Definition. Xxxx leave is intended for personal illness, quarantine at home or serious illness in the immediate family or household. The "immediate family", for purposes of this section, shall be defined as in the bereavement leave section. Upon return, a Certificate of Absence card must be completed and submitted to the school office.
