Sick Leave Less than One-Half Day. There shall be no charge against an Employee's sick leave credits when the absence on account of illness, injury or medical appointment less than one-half (0.5) day for a maximum of twelve (12) times per year. Where the Employee is not carrying out assigned duties for more than one-half (0.5) days due to illness, the Employee's sick leave bank shall have one (1) day deducted.
