Sick Leave Pay Out. Eligible employees who retire under provisions of Article XII shall be eligible for sick leave reimbursement pay as defined and limited in this subdivision. Sick leave reimbursement pay shall be calculated by multiplying the total accumulated unused sick leave hours times 50% and multiplying that value by the employee's applicable hourly rate. For an Instruction Program Supervisor hired after January 1, 2021, sick leave reimbursement pay shall be calculated by multiplying the total accumulated unused sick leave hours up to 960 hours times 50% and multiplying that value by the employee's applicable hourly rate. The hourly rate will be calculated based on the definition in Article VI, Section 1.
