Common use of Sickness During Vacation Clause in Contracts

Sickness During Vacation. An employee hospitalized or sick at home for three (3) consecutive days or more during his vacation period will qualify for use of sick leave credits upon presentation of a doctor's certificate, providing management is notified during the illness. The portion of his vacation while the employee was hospitalized or sick shall be rescheduled later.

Sickness During Vacation. (a) An employee hospitalized or sick at home for three (3) consecutive days or more confined to residence on doctor’s orders during his their vacation period will may qualify for use of sick leave credits upon presentation production of a doctor's ’s certificate, and providing management the illness is notified during reported to the illness. An If an employee hospitalized becomes ill or sick at home injured for three (3) consecutive days or more during his while on vacation period leave, on provision of a medical certificate from her physician, her vacation leave will qualify for use of be credited back by the Employer and the employee shall be entitled to claim unused sick leave credits upon presentation of a doctor's certificate, providing management is notified during the illness. The portion of his vacation while the employee was hospitalized or sick shall be rescheduled latercredits.
