Signal Inspector. An employee assigned to and whose principal duties are the inspection and field testing of appliances, appurtenances and equipment covered by the scope of this agreement. Such employee shall make all relay and apparatus inspections and tests, including meggering, required by and reported to the Department of Transportation and those required by the Carrier, but who may perform any Signal Department work. Inspectors may work together or with signalmen or signal maintainers with or without their assistants and/or helpers in connection with testing and inspecting. This rule shall not be construed as restricting the inspection and/or testing of signal apparatus, appliances, circuits and appurtenances by other employees covered by this agreement. Supervisory officers of the Carrier may make other than routine or periodic tests and inspections.

Signal Inspector. Each Signal Inspector shall have previously met all of the requirements of a Signal Maintainer. Each Signal Inspector shall be responsible for overseeing all signal inspections and maintenance within his designated territories. Signaler - Will be assigned to signal gangs and will be responsible for the repair, machinery renovation, revamp, testing, upkeep of property, and signal equipment within the limits of the Owners property. The minimum hours of experience to advance are shown in Section 5.01. Employees must pass written tests and field assessments prior to advancing to the next step. Signal Xxxxxxx - Each Signal Xxxxxxx will have previously met all of the requirements of a Signal Maintainer. A qualified Signal Xxxxxxx will be in charge of each Signal Gang of four (4) or more Signalmen and will perform work as a member of the gang. The Signal Xxxxxxx will direct and be responsible for all work performed by the Signal Gang.

  • Final Inspection Contractor shall complete the list of items identified on the pre-final Punchlist prior to requesting a final inspection. Unless otherwise specified, or otherwise agreed in writing by the parties as documented on the Certificate of Substantial Completion, Contractor shall complete and/or correct all Work within thirty (30) days of the Substantial Completion date. Upon completion of the pre-final Punchlist work, Contractor shall give written notice to ODR and A/E that the Work will be ready for final inspection on a specific date. Contractor shall accompany this notice with a copy of the updated pre-final Punchlist indicating resolution of all items. On the date specified or as soon thereafter as is practicable, ODR, A/E and Contractor will inspect the Work. A/E will submit to Contractor a final Punchlist of open items that the inspection team requires corrected or completed before final acceptance of the Work.

  • Project Inspector 5.1.1 One or more Project Inspector(s), including special Project Inspector(s), as required, will be assigned to the Work by District, in accordance with requirements of title 24, part 1, of the California Code of Regulations, to enforce the building code and monitor compliance with Plans and Specifications for the Project previously approved by the DSA. Duties of Project Inspector(s) are specifically defined in section 4-342 of said part 1 of title 24.

  • Inspector An authorized representative of the Owner or Engineer assigned to make all necessary inspections and/or tests of the work performed or being performed, or of the materials furnished or being furnished by the Contractor.

  • Health and Safety Representative Meetings 13.1 A health and safety representative will be allowed reasonable paid time during working hours to attend occupational health and safety matters, including meetings affecting employees they represent, providing that the Representative informs their manager.

  • Inspectors At any election of Trustees, the Board of Trustees prior thereto may, or, if they have not so acted, the chairman of the meeting may appoint one or more inspectors of election who shall first subscribe an oath of affirmation to execute faithfully the duties of inspectors at such election with strict impartiality and according to the best of their ability, and shall after the election make a certificate of the result of the vote taken.

  • Inspector General The Grantee understands its duty, pursuant to Section 20.055(5), F.S., to cooperate with the inspector general in any investigation, audit, inspection, review, or hearing. The Grantee will comply with this duty and ensure that its sub-grantees and/or subcontractors issued under this Agreement, if any, impose this requirement, in writing, on its sub-grantees and/or subcontractors, respectively.

  • Safety Inspection During inspection of County facilities conducted by the State Division of Occupational Safety and Health for the purpose of determining compliance with the California OSHA requirements, an OCEA designated employee shall be allowed to accompany the inspector while the inspector is in the employee's agency/department. The employee so designated shall suffer no loss of pay when this function is performed during the employee's regularly scheduled work hours.
