SIGNATURE PROGRAMS. Signature Programs are IEEE run public imperatives for which the Foundation proactively raises external philanthropic dollars in partnership with the IEEE Organizational Unit (OU) that runs the program. Signature Programs are designed to elicit response that inspires a donor or prospect to make a gift. The duration of a Signature Program will vary depending upon the needs and objectives of the program. The addition of Signature Programs shall not be a routine activity for the Foundation. Signature Programs shall only be added after careful consideration, research, agreed upon jointly with IEEE and approved by the Foundation Board of Directors. During the start-up phase of a Signature Program, the Foundation may provide Launch Funding. The Launch Funding guidelines are specified in Section 1.1.F1 of the IEEE Foundation Operations Manual. Funding for Signature Programs shall be provided in the form of grants to IEEE. The grant document shall not define a time parameter or the funding amount. The funding amount shall be determined annually during the annual budgeting process. Both IEEE and the Foundation must approve the budgets for Signature Programs annually. The IEEE OU must manage the program within the funding it is provided from IEEE and the Foundation. To maintain the status as a Signature Program, the IEEE OU that runs the program must provide the prescribed reports to the Foundation which will be used to assess the effectiveness and worthiness of the program. The Foundation may elect to withdraw Signature Program status based on these reports and other considerations within its discretion.

DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3).   • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.

  • HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.

  • Program Manager Owner may designate a Program Manager to administer the Project and this Contract. In lieu of a Program Manager, Design Professional may be designated to perform the role of Program Manager. The Program Manager may also be designated as the Owner’s Representative, and if no Owner’s Representative is designated, the Program Manager shall be the Owner’s Representative.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with Employer policies and available resources. 9.2 Attendance at employer-required training will be considered time worked. The Employer will make reasonable attempts to schedule employer-required training during an employee’s regular work shift. The Employer will pay the registration and associated travel costs in accordance with Article 23, Travel, for employer-required training.

  • Private Duty Nursing Services This plan covers private duty nursing services, received in your home when ordered by a physician, and performed by a certified home healthcare agency. This plan covers these services when the patient requires continuous skilled nursing observation and intervention.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.
