Smoking Cessation Programs Sample Clauses
The Smoking Cessation Programs clause requires the provision or facilitation of programs designed to help individuals stop smoking. Typically, this clause mandates that employers offer access to resources such as counseling, support groups, or nicotine replacement therapies for employees who wish to quit smoking. Its core practical function is to promote a healthier workplace environment and reduce health-related costs by supporting employees in overcoming tobacco addiction.
Smoking Cessation Programs. In accordance with Rhode Island General Law §27-20-53, this agreement provides coverage for smoking cessation programs. Smoking cessation programs include, but are not limited to, the following: • Smoking cessation counseling, such counseling must be provided by a physician or upon his or her referral by a qualified licensed practitioner. • Over-the-counter or FDA approved nicotine replacement therapy and/or smoking cessation prescription drugs when medically necessary, prescribed by a physician, and purchased at a pharmacy. Smoking Cessation Programs. The hospital will work towards a goal to ensure that the Ottawa Model of Smoking Cessation is provided to hospital and reaches 80% of inpatient smokers by March 31, 2013. The hospital will expand the Ottawa Model for Smoking Cessation program to improve baseline reach by 25% by March 31, 2012. Smoking Cessation Programs. The Authority will reimburse an employee up to one hundred dollars ($100) per year for participation in such programs, subject to required Federal and State tax withholdings, upon the submittal of a Wellness Benefit Request form accompanied with a paid invoice to the Human Resources Department for approved Wellness Programs.
Smoking Cessation Programs. The Department supports and encourages all efforts by employees to quit smoking. In this regard, the Department shall sponsor the American Cancer Society (ACS) Smoking Cessation Program (or comparable program in offices where this program is not available) and provide appropriate time and bear the cost for such HUD-sponsored programs. If Management is trained by ACS (or comparable program) to conduct future smoking cessation programs, the Union shall also be trained and joint training by Management and the Union shall be conducted. Participation in the smoking cessation program shall be voluntary. Smoking cessation programs shall not be negotiated at the local level.
Smoking Cessation Programs. If during the course of the Agreement, the ACA is determined to be applicable to part-time employees, the parties shall review existing plans and if necessary, be tasked with creating and/or locating new or modified plans.
