Spare Operators' Covering Allowance. 6.10.01 An operator who reports for the purpose of covering runs or shifts shall receive a covering allowance in accordance with the following provisions: 6.10.01.01 An operator who reports prior to noon shall receive the regular rate of pay until they take out a run. If they are not assigned work, or if they are relieved and assigned work which begins more than 2 hours from the time of the report, they shall receive 2 hours covering allowance at the regular rate of pay. 6.10.01.02 An operator who reports at or after noon shall receive the regular rate of pay until they take out a run. If they are not assigned work, or if they are relieved and assigned work which begins more than 1½ hours from the time of the report, they shall receive 1½ hours covering allowance at the regular rate of pay. 6.10.02 No operator may leave the operating garage while covering runs unless released by the dispatcher in charge. 6.10.03 The actual time for which an operator has been retained by the dispatcher to cover runs or shifts shall be included in calculating the operator's total hours of work for that day and shall be applicable for overtime.

Minimum Pay Operator Short Assignments Any single piece of work will be paid a minimum amount equivalent to two (2) hours at the regular rate of pay. However, if an operator is called out from home, he shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the applicable rate for such work. Short Interval Through Pay Where an interval of point five hours or less exists between two (2) pieces of work, the operator shall be paid straight through the interval and the two (2) assigned pieces of work shall be regarded as a single piece of work, except that an emergency call-out from home occurring during the point five hour period shall constitute a separate piece of work from the work performed previous to the call-out. Operator Delay Pay It is agreed that a reasonable degree of tolerance must be observed in the actual time of return of buses to the garage. Xxxxx claims will only be recognized in instances where the delay is ten (10) minutes or greater. Instructional Pay Operators shall be paid one dollar ($1) per hour extra while acting as in-service instructors in the training of new operators. The City shall review the qualifications and performance of employees acting as in-service instructors.   • Service Core Allowance The company shall pay $0.95 per hour for all work carried out in construction of service core.   • Expenses and Fringe Benefits During the Contract Period, the Executive shall be entitled to reimbursement for all business expenses incurred by him with respect to the business of the Employer in the same manner and to the same extent as such expenses were previously reimbursed to him immediately prior to the Change in Control, PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that if the deduction by Employer for federal income tax purposes of any expense which is incurred by Executive and reimbursed to Executive by Employer is disallowed as a result of not being an ordinary and necessary business expense under the then current version of Section 162 of the Internal Revenue Code, then Executive shall repay the amount of such reimbursed expense to Employer; AND FURTHER PROVIDED that, notwithstanding the foregoing clause of this sentence, Executive shall not be obligated to repay to Employer any business expense incurred by him and reimbursed to him by the Bank the deductibility of which is prohibited or limited by the application of a specific statutory, regulatory or administrative principle, and which would otherwise be deductible to Employer as an ordinary and necessary business expense under the then current version of Section 162 of the Internal Revenue Code. Executive consents to the withholding by Employer of any such amount from that paycheck of Executive which immediately succeeds the final disallowance by the Internal Revenue Service of the deduction of such reimbursed expense, but only if the withholding of such amount would not violate applicable wage and hour laws. If prior to the Change in Control, the Executive was entitled to the use of an automobile, he shall be entitled to the same use of an automobile at least comparable to the automobile provided to him prior to the Change in Control, and he shall be entitled to vacations and sick days, in accordance with the practices and procedures of the Employer, as such existed immediately prior to the Change in Control. During the Contract Period the Executive also shall be entitled to hospital, health, medical and life insurance, and any other benefits enjoyed, from time to time, by executive officers of the Employer, all upon terms as favorable as those enjoyed by other executive officers of the Employer. Notwithstanding anything in this section to the contrary, if Employer adopts any change in the expenses allowed to, or fringe benefits provided for, executive officers of Employer, and such policy is uniformly applied to all executive officers of Employer, then no such change in policy shall be deemed to be a violation of this provision.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.
