SPECIAL AND COMPASSIONATE LEAVE. 22.01 The Department Manager, in consultation with Human Resources may grant an employee leave of absence with pay for up to three (3) days in a year upon special or compassionate grounds for reasons other than those specified in Article 21. It is agreed that such leave will not be unreasonably withheld.
